Companions:
The Companions of Anamchara Fellowship are persons living in the world, (men, women, lay and ordained) who desire to connect themselves with the sisters and brothers of Anamchara Fellowship, for the advancement of their own spiritual lives, and to further their interests and those of Anamchara Fellowship in general.
Companions will be external members of the Fellowship, with no voice or vote concerning the governance of the Fellowship; however, they will be an integral part of the prayer life of the Fellowship.
It is to be expected that the Companions will work continually for their own sanctification. They will seek to grow in the chrisms of generosity, hospitality, compassion and love, and in Christ’s own spirit of prayer and devotion, upholding the virtues of Simplicity, Fidelity and Obedience.
The purpose of the Companions is to be a supportive body spiritually and (as they are able) financially to the Fellowship. They are to promote the Fellowship to the wider Church and to promote the Religious Life in its various manifestations. As they are able, Companions will work alongside members of the Fellowship in their ministries, as well as service activities supported by the Fellowship.

Companions’ Prayer
I give myself this day, without reservation, to God, the Three of boundless love. For the members of Anamchara Fellowship I pray. For my fellow Companions I pray. For the Church throughout the world I pray. Grant us peace, grant us courage, grant us grace, that we may grow more into the likeness of Christ and establish God’s Kingdom in our midst. Amen.
